Updated over a year ago

StarMeUp empowers your organization's employees to recognize their colleagues’ performance on a daily basis by sending out 'Stars.' Recognition falls into three categories on the platform:

● Star

● Brightened Star

● Group Star

Star

Each star is associated with one of the organization's values. Employees can reward their coworkers' positive behavior through organizational values.

StarMeUp allows you to select a value and send recognition to multiple colleagues. In this way, several people can be recognized at the same time for their individual contribution to the same milestone. Each employee included in a group star recognition will count as one Star with the total deducted from the number of monthly stars available.

REMINDER

Each employee will be able to send a limited number of monthly stars that are renewed at the start of each month. In your profile, you will see the total number of stars available to you.

Brighten a Star

Employees can also Brighten a Star they identify with. When an employee Brightens a Star, one Star will be deducted from the total number of stars allotted to them for that month.

IMPORTANT

Group stars cannot be brightened.

Group Star

When a team is successful it is not only because of the capabilities of its members, but also because they empower one another. A Group Star recognizes the entire team, group or area for a job well done.

The Group Star is an optional StarMeUp feature that you can choose to activate.

To send a Group Star, select anywhere from two to 100 employees. (Two is the minimum. One hundred is the maximum.)

Each Group Star counts as a single Star.

To send a Star, follow these steps.
