Updated over 2 years ago

To ensure that employees recognize their colleagues, it is not enough just to launch the platform. It's necessary to interact with the members of the organization and maintain constant monitoring.

Here are some ideas to help you drive adoption of StarMeUp in your company.

Sponsored Content

Sponsored content is featured content submitted by your company and is visible in the feed of every member of your organization.

REMINDER

This type of content can only be generated and configured by users who have been assigned a Communications role.

This initiative is useful when communicating messages of interest to all employees, such as talks,

seminars, news, or an important announcement.

Living Values Campaign

This initiative promotes peer recognition by allowing employees to select each value of the organization and send multiple stars and still hold onto the Stars they've been allotted for that monthly period.

Bulk notifications

Organization-wide notifications can be scheduled to be sent to all employees.

There are three types of bulk notifications:

● Personalized notifications

● Work anniversaries

● Pending stars

REMINDER

These notifications can only be generated and configured by users who have been assigned an Administrator role.

Sponsored hashtags

With the sponsored hashtags, you will be able to disseminate topics on StarMeUp, keep them in the spotlight, and influence user conversations.

In addition, this type of initiative allows you to identify the hashtags used by the community in a simple way to later facilitate the analysis of the organization's metrics.

REMINDER

Sponsored hashtags can only be generated and configured by users who have been assigned an Administrator role.

Group Stars

Group Stars allow you to recognize a group of people. This type of recognition is ideal for leaders when celebrating the achievement of a team, group or area for their good performance.

Group stars are not directly tied to organizational values. Their goal is to highlight a group of employees for a job well done.

This StarMeUp feature is optional and can be enabled by the organization at any time.

TIP

We recommend not enabling Group Stars when launching StarMeUp. It is better to let your employees get into the habit of sending recognition in your organization before activating them.

Mentions

When sending a Star, you can tag another colleague placing an “@” before the person's name in the description. This action will send a notification to the named user and give the Star more visibility.

TIP

When sending a Star, you can mention the leader of the recognized person. By involving leaders, recognition is spread more widely and more interaction is generated.

Another way to mention other colleagues when sending a Star is by adding their names below the description box.

As with mentions within the description box, this action will send a notification to the named user and give the recognition greater visibility.

You can generate an initiative to drive the adoption of the platform in your company that integrates several of these ideas.

For example, Globant celebrates Diversity Month every year, a month where diversity and inclusion are encouraged. During Diversity Month, a Living Values campaign is launched, a hashtag is sponsored, sponsored content is generated, and bulk notifications are configured for all StarMeUp users so that they are aware of the initiative.
