Using the Talent Matrix in StarMeUp

Updated over a year ago

Once configured, the Talent Matrix is integrated into the Evaluations section of the StarMeUp platform. Leaders will be able to visualize the new Talent Matrix box when completing two-question evaluations for each employee.

The Leader's Journey:

The leader's journey consists of two stages:

Stage 1: Evaluation

Leaders complete a two-question evaluation for each employee, adapted according to the organization. The answers are classified into three levels: high, medium, or low.

Stage 2: Visualization and Calibration: English Translation

Once all talents are reflected in the grid, leaders have the option to adjust their responses to obtain a more accurate distribution of talent. All changes are recorded in a calibration history specific to each employee.

Step-by-Step Guide to Using the Talent Matrix:

1. Access from My Team:

  • Log in to the My Team section on our platform.

  • Click on the Evaluations section.

2. Creating an Evaluation and Assigning a Quadrant:

  • Click on the Create Evaluation icon.

  • Enter the name of the evaluation.

  • You will be directed to the evaluation screen for the employee.

  • At the bottom of the screen, you will see the Talent Matrix box.

  • Answer the questions provided by your organization by choosing from the available options.

  • The platform will automatically suggest the quadrant corresponding to your choices.

TIP: Remember that you must complete all items in the evaluation in order to save it as a Draft.

3. Visualization and Interpretation of the Matrix:

  • Once you have completed the evaluations, you will see the new Talent Matrix box in the Evaluations section.

  • This box represents the distribution of talent based on your evaluations, using the ratings of the two axes, such as performance and potential.

4. Modification and Calibration:

  • If you need to adjust the ratings, you can do so at any time during the period, directly from the matrix, without the need to create an Evaluation.

  • Click on a quadrant to change the ratings, indicate the reason for the change, and see the employee's new location.
