These notifications can only be generated and configured by users who have been assigned an Administrator role.
Personalized notifications
As the name says, these notifications can be personalized by the Administrator.
To generate a personalized notification, follow these steps:
Step 1
From the Admin panel, go to StarMeUp, Content Management, Communications, and then Notifications.
TIP
You can resend any of the notifications that appear in the list.
Step 2
Once you click NEW NOTIFICATION, you'll be able to choose your Audience, then choose the type on notification you are going to send.
Step 3
Write the title and description. The title can be up to 40 characters and the description up to 144 characters.
You can also schedule your notification by clicking on Later, then you'll need to specify a date and time for your notification to be sent out by StarMeUp.
Once you have completed all the fields, click SEND.
After sending the notification, it will be automatically added to the list mentioned in the first step with all prior notifications.
There are other types of standard notifications already set up for all the organizations
Work anniversaries
This type of notification is sent to employees who are celebrating a work anniversary within the organization.
The purpose of the anniversary notification is to invite people to recognize colleagues who have accompanied them during their time at the company.
Remaining stars
This notification is sent at the end of the month to all users who still have stars pending on StarMeUp to remind them to submit them.
