Boost Stars Notification

Updated over 2 years ago

How does it work?

This feature aims to reach users who are close to the sender or receiver of a star, in order to generate more reactions and highlight this star in the feed. This encourages greater participation and motivates those who send and receive stars to continue this recognition habit.

These notifications are of the bell and push types, they are sent to a limited number of users who are close to the sender or receiver of a star, and they are generated at the same moment the star is created..

Who receives this notification?

There are three scenarios:

  1. A user sends their first star ⭐️. A limited group of users, who share common attributes with the sender of the star, will receive a bell and push notification inviting them to access this recognition to highlight it, either by joining, giving a 'like,' or sharing a comment

  2. A user receives their first star ⭐️. A limited group of users, who share common attributes with the receiver of the star, will receive a bell and push notification inviting them to access this recognition to highlight it, either by joining, giving a 'like,' or sharing a comment.

  3. A user receives a star ⭐️. In that case, a limited group of users who have more interactions with the sender of the star will receive a bell and push notification inviting them to access this recognition to highlight it, either by joining, giving a 'like,' or sharing a comment.

Common attributes mean having the same office, country, job or other fields configured by the company. On the other hand, more interactions mean having connections based on sent recognitions, shared likes or comments, among others.
