StarMeUp allows employees to greet colleagues on their birthday or company anniversaries. They have to look for the birthday / anniversary of the day in the Activity section, hover over the colleague they want to greet and click on “Wish them a happy...”
TIP
They can also greet a person from their profile, by clicking on the birthday / anniversary icons that appear above their photo. This option will be available even if the birthdays and anniversaries section is disabled.
Doing so will open a simile recognition card where employees can leave a message and like others’ comments. The congratulation cards will be visible in the feed for 72 hours, and can be also checked out at any time from the honored person’s celebrations widget.
IMPORTANT
The widget will be visible in the employee’s profile only if he’s greeted at least once.
REMEMBER
You must load employees’ birthday and initial date of employment into your database if you want to have the congratulation cards available.
To see today's special dates, people just need to click on Check today's special dates.
They will be redirected to the screen of special dates, where they can see all the birthdays and anniversaries of people across the organization.
